August 7- OAARS will be on Camp Foster on Saturday August 7 from 10-1 in front of Island Treasures for an adoption event. If you are interested in a new family member, please come by and see one of our furry animals.

Due to birthing season and the high demands of owner turn in’s and found kittens, at this time OAARS is not accepting any new requests to take in any kittens or cats. With 60 kittens/cats and 10 new born kittens we are completely full.  If you would still like to request a kitten/cat to come in, please contact oaarsintake@gmail.com

OAARS is in need of some dedicated volunteers to volunteer their hours at the Marine Corp Thrift Shop on Camp Foster. A couple hours, One day a week, anything is appreciated!

If you’re interested in volunteering at the Thrift Shop, the first step would be to stop by and introduce yourself to the managers.  There’s an “application” to fill out, which really just lists your availability and contact info.  There is no pay for the position – you simply sign in under OAARS in their volunteer log.

OAARS will be on Camp Courtney this Saturday July 24 from 10-1 in between the post office and the PX. Come out and say Hi or come out and meet a new friend.

June 25- OAARS furry love, Chubbs who is a  long-haired dachshund, is flying to his new  home in MD to Pets with Disabilities today. “THANK YOU” to everyone who has been a part of Chubbs life since he has been with OAARS.
